Results on AfricaDecides are never published early. Competition leaderboards update live, while election tallies stay sealed until the close.
Competition leaderboards
In competition mode, standings show live as boosts come in. When the competition closes, the final order is certified and displayed publicly.
Election tallies
In election mode, no running totals are shown. The full result — winners, turnout and counts — is published only after voting ends and is verified.
Verification & audit
Every vote and ballot is recorded in an audit trail that organisers and institutions can review.
Competition results include the total boost count per contestant. Election results include voter turnout and a verifiable count. Organisers can share a results page so participants can confirm the outcome themselves.
