How pricing works
There is nothing to pay before you launch. AfricaDecides takes a flat 30% commission on paid voting and paid livestream revenue, so we only earn when you do.
No setup fees
Create competitions, elections, events and forms for free. You only pay from the money your project collects.
30% commission
A flat 30% of paid voting and paid livestream revenue covers payments, hosting, verification and support.
You keep 70%
The rest is yours to withdraw to Mobile Money. Payouts are processed after verification, typically within one business day.
Voting & boosts
Voters buy boosts to support their favourite contestants. The first boost starts at UGX 1,000 and there is no cap on how many a voter can buy.
Paid boosts
Each boost is a counted vote. Boosts are paid through MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and cards, and appear instantly on the public leaderboard.
Public leaderboards
Competition mode shows live standings so fans can see the race and rally support. Results stay visible until the competition closes.
Ticketing & registration
Sell tickets and collect entries without extra software. A small fee applies per ticket sale, included in the commission on paid revenue.
QR tickets
Every ticket generates a QR code. Gate staff verify it at entry with the verify-ticket tool, so duplicates and fakes are caught instantly.
Registration forms
Collect contestant entries, audition applications and sign-ups with custom forms — no separate tool, no per-submission fee.
Elections
Election mode uses secret ballots with one verified voter per ballot and sealed results. Pricing is arranged per election based on voter count.
Because elections never sell votes, they are priced as a package rather than per boost. Contact us for a quote based on your number of voters and whether you need on-site verification.
Payouts
Withdraw your share to Mobile Money whenever your balance is available.
Mobile Money withdrawals
Request a payout from your organiser dashboard. Withdrawals are reviewed and approved, then sent to your MTN or Airtel account.
Withdrawal fees
A small processing fee of UGX 1,200–5,000 applies per withdrawal depending on the amount, deducted from the payout.
